Biography
Andrew Betts Brown, born in 1841, distinguished himself as an innovative inventor whose ideas advanced the engineering of his time, particularly in the fields of ironwork and maritime technology. He turned curiosity into practical solutions that helped shape modern infrastructure.
He spent his life in pursuit of progress while also nurturing those around him, and after his death in 1906 he was laid to rest in Dean Cemetery.
