Andrey Voronikhin was one of Russia's most celebrated architects of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Born in 1759, he played a pivotal role in shaping the neoclassical architecture that defined St. Petersburg's urban landscape, including his renowned work on the Kazan Cathedral.
