Arthur Buckminster Fuller

Biography

Arthur Buckminster Fuller (1822–1862) was a clergyman of considerable promise whose life was cut short during the Civil War era. Despite his brief span of years, he demonstrated deep commitment to his religious vocation and to the moral questions that confronted his generation, particularly regarding the great conflict that divided the nation.

Fuller's dedication to his ministry and his principled engagement with the pressing issues of his time earned him respect and remembrance. His burial at Mount Auburn Cemetery reflects the regard in which he was held by his community, and his legacy endures as that of a devoted servant of the church.
