Arthur Irving Jacobs

Biography

Arthur Irving Jacobs, born in 1858, came of age as the country healed from war and embraced new possibilities. He passed away in 1918 and found his final resting place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, where many of Hartford’s citizens now sleep beneath the shade of ancient trees.

He is respectfully remembered as a steady figure who offered thoughtful companionship to those around him, a presence now honored by the calm atmosphere of his graveyard home.
