Biography
Arthur Richard Brian Tedder, born in 1916, came of age as his country prepared to face the gathering storm over Europe. He dedicated himself to the service of others, embracing the responsibilities of duty even as the war drew nearer to his own homeland.
When the conflict reached the shores of France, he was among those who carried the efforts of his comrades forward with steadiness and resolve until his life was tragically cut short in 1940. He now rests in the care of Bayeux War Cemetery, where he is remembered with gratitude for the early sacrifices he made.
