Asa White

Biography

Asa White was born in 1774 and came of age during the American Revolutionary period. His sixty-nine years of life encompassed the birth of the nation and its early development, during which he contributed to his community in Cortland.

Though the specifics of White's occupation and daily life are not extensively recorded, his presence in historical records through cemetery documentation attests to his place in early American society. He was interred in Cortland Rural Cemetery, where his memory is honored among the generations of his community.
