Biography
Béla Erődi was a distinguished linguist whose scholarship illuminated the structure of Uralic languages and enriched Hungary's intellectual life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
He taught with great care, mentoring students who would continue the study of language for decades, and he remained a respected figure in Budapest until his passing in 1936.
