Benjamin Woodward, born in 1780, carried forward the industrious spirit of his forebears, taking pride in the labor and steadfastness that marked his family’s legacy. He fostered a sense of mutual care among neighbors, believing that each person had a role in creating lasting prosperity.
He was laid to rest in Mount Hope Plains Cemetery in 1841, leaving behind a heritage of responsibility and gentle leadership that continues to be remembered with affection.
