Biography

Betty Andujar devoted her life to public service, breaking barriers as one of the first Republican women elected to the Texas Senate. She brought a thoughtful voice to deliberations on mental health, veterans, and local government, always insisting on pragmatic solutions for the people of Fort Worth and beyond.

After leaving elective office she remained a steadfast advocate for civic engagement, mentoring young leaders and honoring the dignity of the Lone Star State, a legacy now honored at the Texas State Cemetery.
