Biography
Birch Bayh represented Indiana in the U.S. Senate during a transformational era, authoring the language of the 25th and 26th Amendments and writing Title IX to expand equality in education and athletics.
He defended the rights of individuals and minorities throughout his life, and he is remembered with honor at Arlington National Cemetery.
