Biography

Bruce R. McConkie's tireless study of scripture and doctrine shaped the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and as an apostle he was noted for his clarity, conviction, and prolific writings such as Mormon Doctrine.

He traveled widely, strengthening stakes and missions while reminding members of the importance of daily discipleship, leaving a legacy of faithful scholarship; he is laid to rest at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
