Bryant Parrott Tilden was born in 1817 and lived during a transformative period in American history. Though his life was cut short at the age of 42, he was part of a generation that witnessed significant social and industrial changes.

Tilden was laid to rest at Mount Auburn Cemetery, one of America's most distinguished burial grounds. His memory is preserved among the many notable individuals interred at this historic cemetery.
