Biography

Charles Wesley "Bug" Holliday became one of Cincinnati's celebrated athletes as a center fielder for the Reds, leading the American Association in hitting and helping the team claim championships.

After his playing days he remained in the community, offering his steady character to business and mentoring younger athletes so that his love of the game endured, and he rests in Spring Grove Cemetery.
