Biography

Captain William Warden was born in 1779 and died in 1807 at the age of twenty-eight. As a soldier in the service of the British East India Company, he played a role in the military affairs of colonial India. He was buried in South Park Street Cemetery, Calcutta, where military personnel and civilians alike found their final resting place.
