Biography
Caroline Knox was a woman of the foreign community in Bangkok during the late 19th century. Born in 1857, she lived during a period of significant Western presence and influence in Thailand, representing the growing expatriate community in the kingdom.
Though limited details of her life remain, Knox's burial at Bangkok Protestant Cemetery indicates her connection to the Christian expatriate community in the Thai capital. She passed away in 1893 at the age of 36, and her resting place reflects the established foreign presence in Bangkok during the reign of King Chulalongkorn.
