Biography

Frederik Købke was a Danish consul who represented his nation's interests in Bangkok during the 19th century. Born in 1837, he served in the important diplomatic role of consul, facilitating trade and relations between Denmark and Siam during a period of significant international engagement.

Købke's diplomatic service contributed to the growing European presence and influence in Thailand during the reign of King Mongkut and his successor. As consul, he would have been involved in protecting Danish interests and nationals in the kingdom. He passed away in 1881 and was laid to rest at Bangkok Protestant Cemetery, reflecting the established foreign community in the Thai capital.
