Biography
Caroline Rivière was a young woman born in 1793 during the tumultuous years of the French Revolution. She came of age during the Consulate and early Empire, a period of relative stability following the Revolutionary upheaval.
Rivière died in 1807 at the age of fourteen and was laid to rest in Père Lachaise Cemetery. Her brief life was marked by the historical transformations that defined early 19th-century France, and her burial in this distinguished cemetery honored her memory.
