Carolyn Wilson Harris bore witness to the shifts of the late nineteenth century and was cherished by her community for the supportive spirit she brought to every gathering.

When she passed in 1910, her friends honored her kindness and now recall her while visiting her resting place at Green-Wood Cemetery.
