Biography

Charles Anderson-Pelham, 1st Baron Yarborough (1749–1823) was a prominent English politician and landowner who played an active role in national affairs during a transformative period in British history. Created Baron Yarborough, he represented his constituents and managed substantial estates, including the impressive Brocklesby Hall in Lincolnshire.

Baron Yarborough was a figure of considerable influence and respect in his region and at court. His long life spanned from the mid-18th century through the Napoleonic Wars and into the post-war period, allowing him to witness and participate in momentous changes to the nation. He was interred at Brocklesby Hall, his principal seat, where his legacy endured.
