Biography
Charles Anderson-Pelham, 1st Earl of Yarborough, was a prominent politician and nobleman who wielded considerable influence in British public life. Born in 1781, he rose to prominence during the Napoleonic era and the subsequent period of British political reform.
As a peer of the realm, he played an important role in parliamentary affairs and the governance of his estates. He died in 1846 and was interred at Brocklesby Hall, the seat of his earldom, where his memory is preserved as a significant figure in English aristocratic history.
