Cornelia Augusta Betts

Biography

Cornelia Augusta Betts, who was born in 1837, lived through many of the great changes of the 19th century while caring for her family and companions with devotion. She offered kindness and support where it was needed, embodying the steadfast grace expected of her generation.

She was laid to rest in Green-Wood Cemetery in 1917, and the quiet beauty of the grounds continues to honor her thoughtful presence.
