Biography

Dan Vašut (1972–1999) was a Czech actor whose career, though cut short, contributed to the performing arts of his nation. Born in the waning years of communist Czechoslovakia, he came of age as an artist during the transformative period following 1989.

Vašut was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery in Prague at the young age of 27, leaving behind a legacy as a talented performer and a reminder of the vibrant cultural life of the Czech theater community in the 1990s.
