Biography

Daniel Köhne dedicated his career to the art of organ building, crafting instruments whose clarity and sensitive action satisfied demanding worship communities. His workshop became known for marrying precise mechanics with careful tonal design, supplying organs for cathedrals and parish churches alike and helping to enrich the sonic landscape of Denmark’s liturgical services.

His instruments bore witness to a deep respect for tradition as well as a willingness to refine ideas inherited from earlier generations of builders, and they continued to be cherished long after his passing.
