David J. O'Connell devoted his talents to the civic life of his surroundings, always eager to support the institutions that sustained families and neighborhoods. His presence quietly encouraged cooperation and civic responsibility across the St. John community.

He rests now within St. John Cemetery, where his memory continues to inspire others to live with the same sense of duty and generosity.
