Biography
Donald A. Wollheim helped launch American science fiction publishing, editing magazines, founding the Ace Books line, and later establishing DAW Books to give groundbreaking writers a home for their visions of the future.
He championed new voices, mentored emerging editors, and worked tirelessly to expand the readership for speculative fiction while preserving the genre's storied past.
