Biography
Dorothy Gibson gained early fame as a dancer and screen actress in the new age of silent film, a career forever marked by her miraculous survival of the Titanic disaster and her courage in telling that story. She turned her experience into art, bringing honesty to every role she undertook.
Later she shifted to writing and producing, using her screen talents to honor victims and to offer hope, while continuing to champion the arts in the communities where she lived.
