Biography

Dottie Wiltse Collins emerged as one of the faces of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, winning games with a blazing fastball and the fierce pride she brought to every outing. She remained a lifelong champion of women in sport, telling friends that the lessons of teamwork and resilience were as valuable in life as on the field.

After her playing days she answered countless invitations to share memories, keeping alive the stories of those who wore the league's uniforms and helping younger athletes see their own potential.
