Biography
Earl B. Dickerson was a trailblazing attorney whose sharp mind and steady courage shaped the pursuit of justice in Chicago and beyond. He pressed for fair housing, civil rights, and civic representation, ensuring that the promise of the law reached communities that had too often been excluded.
Beyond the courtroom he invested in mentoring young lawyers and encouraging civic participation, believing that progress grew from informed citizens and tireless advocacy. His legacy is one of unwavering resolve and a deep belief in the equality the nation strives toward, and he is buried at Burr Oak Cemetery.
