Ebenezer Oliver

Biography

Ebenezer Oliver (1751–1826) was a Bostonian whose life spanned the Revolutionary era and extended well into the nineteenth century. He witnessed the transformation of his city and nation during a period of remarkable change and development.

Oliver's long life allowed him to see the young American republic mature and grow. His burial at King's Chapel Burying Ground reflects his family's significance within Boston's established community and their connection to the city's historic institutions.
