Biography

Ebenezer Stevens was a military officer whose service spanned the American Revolutionary War and the early years of the republic. As a dedicated soldier and officer, Stevens contributed to the military efforts that secured American independence and helped establish the nation's armed forces during their formative period.

Stevens's long life, extending from the mid-eighteenth century into the early nineteenth century, allowed him to witness and participate in the transformation of the American colonies into an independent nation.
