Edmund Janes Carpenter

Biography

Edmund Janes Carpenter (1845–1924) was a long-serving participant in the civic life of Milton, witnessing the town grow through Reconstruction and into the twentieth century. He approached each day with a thoughtful temperament and an appreciation for the evolving needs of his neighbors.

Milton Cemetery is his place of rest, where family members recall his earnest contributions to the community and the gracious way he carried himself.
