Biography

Thomas McDonogh answered the call of the fledgling United States as a naval officer, navigating the difficult waters of a new republic and helping to establish a tradition of discipline and honor in the service.

Upon his passing in 1805 he was laid to rest in Milton Cemetery, remembered for steady leadership and devotion to country.
