Edmund Sebree

Biography

Edmund Sebree (1898–1966) was a career U.S. Army officer whose service spanned the turbulent decades of the World Wars and the early Cold War. He guided troops through training and overseas deployments, bringing steady leadership to each assignment and helping to steward the Army into the modern era.

Colleagues remembered him for the calm assurance he offered to young officers and for his deep sense of duty to the nation; in retirement he remained engaged with veteran causes and the bonds forged in uniform.
