Edward Bruce

Biography

Edward Bruce (1861–1919) spent his life bringing color and contemplation to the citizens of Aurora through his artwork. As an artist he sought to reflect the beauty of everyday scenes and encouraged others to value the visual arts.

He remained devoted to the cultural life of his community, uplifting Aurora with both his paintings and his support for fellow creators.
