Electa Quinney

Electa Quinney, a Native American leader and educator, labored tirelessly to create schools that honored the heritage of her people while preparing young minds for the years ahead. She modeled grace and perseverance as she guided families through difficult transitions and kept cultural memory alive.

She is interred at Stockbridge Indian Cemetery, where her community continues to honor her pioneering spirit and lifelong devotion to education.
