Biography

Eliam Eliakim Barney was born in 1807 and spent many decades as a devoted husband and father while working as a careful steward of the lands and businesses that supported his family.

He took part in the civic life of his township, offering counsel at church boards and supporting neighbors in hardship, and he prized the peaceful evenings spent with grandchildren before his death in 1880.
