Eliza Storrs Trumbull

Biography

Eliza Storrs Trumbull, born in 1826, was part of a family known for public service, and she was remembered by contemporaries for her graciousness and care for others. Her gentle presence comforted those who gathered in the drawing rooms and parlors of the Old North neighborhood.

She passed in 1862, but the warmth she shared with kin and neighbors lives on, and she rests today in Old North Cemetery where loved ones still visit her marker.
