Biography

Elizabeth Ross was a resident of Calcutta during the early 19th century, a period of significant growth and change in the city. She passed away in infancy in 1804, her brief life commemorated at South Park Street Cemetery.

Though her time on earth was short, Elizabeth's memory was preserved among the many who found their final rest in this historic burial ground, which remains an important record of Calcutta's diverse community during the colonial era.
