Ellen Yates

Biography

Ellen Yates lived a modest life in early 19th century England, her years spanning the latter part of the Georgian era. She was laid to rest in the Church of St Peter in Drayton Bassett, a parish church that has served the community for centuries.

Though little is recorded of her individual accomplishments, Ellen Yates represents the many women of her time whose lives, though not widely documented, formed the fabric of their local communities.
