Enoch Fithian

Biography

Enoch Fithian, born in 1792, spent his life witnessing the young republic grow and refine its ideals, carrying himself with the calm assurance of someone rooted deeply in faith and community. His gentle character helped bind together those around him even as the world beyond shifted in unexpected directions.

When he passed in 1892, Fithian left behind a legacy of quiet service, and his grave at Greenwich Presbyterian Church Cemetery continues to mark the place where friends and family gather in remembrance.
