Biography

Ethan Allen was born in 1832 and went on to serve with distinction as a military officer, rising through the ranks during an era that tested the mettle of the United States Army. His leadership reflected a deep sense of duty and an ability to guide those under his command with calm assurance.

After years of faithfully serving his country, he returned to civilian life with the same integrity he displayed in uniform, and his memory endures at Rock Creek Cemetery among fellow veterans and citizens.
