Biography

Ferdi Rombout was a young resistance fighter who demonstrated exceptional courage in opposing Nazi occupation during World War II. Despite his youth, he committed himself to the dangerous work of the Dutch resistance movement, risking everything for his country's freedom.

He was only 19 years old when he lost his life in 1945, making the ultimate sacrifice for his convictions. His memory is preserved at Ede Memorial Cemetery, where he stands as a testament to the courage of youth in the face of tyranny.
