Florence Sparks Moore was born in 1845 and devoted herself to uplifting those around her, quietly supporting education, comforting neighbors, and creating warm homes where individuals felt welcomed and valued.

Throughout her life she wove threads of generosity into every neighborhood she touched, leaving behind a legacy of compassion now remembered beside her resting place at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
