Franciszek Ołaj was a Polish figure whose life spanned the early nineteenth century, a period of significant change and upheaval in European history. He lived from 1816 to 1866, witnessing the transformations that shaped his era.

Ołaj's final resting place is Montmartre Cemetery in Paris, a burial ground that became a sanctuary for many notable figures of the period.
