Franklin Dexter

Biography

Franklin Dexter was born in 1793 and came of age during the early American republic. He lived through a period of significant national development and witnessed the expansion and maturation of American institutions and society.

Dexter's life extended into the mid-19th century, concluding in 1857. He was laid to rest at Mount Auburn Cemetery, one of America's most distinguished burial grounds, where his memory is preserved among the notable figures of his era.
