Biography
Františka Krausová was born in 1874 in Bohemia. She lived through the later years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and witnessed the establishment of the Czechoslovak state, experiencing the major transformations of her era.
Krausová died in 1945 at an advanced age of seventy-one. She was laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Terezín, a place that commemorates those who did not survive the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia.
