Gábor Fejérváry

Biography

Gábor Fejérváry (1781–1851) was a Hungarian archaeologist whose scholarly investigations contributed to the understanding of Hungary's ancient past and cultural heritage. His work in archaeology reflected the growing interest in historical preservation and scientific inquiry that characterized 19th-century European intellectual life.

Fejérváry's archaeological research helped establish the foundations of Hungarian historical and cultural studies. He was interred at the Fiume Road Graveyard, a final resting place befitting his status as one of Hungary's distinguished scholars and cultural figures.
