Biography
George Henry Law rose through the ranks of the Church of England to become Bishop of Chester and later Bishop of Bath and Wells, where his calm leadership guided clergy training and pastoral outreach across the diocese.
He devoted himself to the cathedral at Wells, to the resourcing of parishes, and to the wellbeing of the poor, leaving behind a steady hand at the helm of the Church until his death in 1845 and resting peacefully near Wells Cathedral.
