Biography
George Plummer came of age in the first decades of the republic and carried those early ideals of neighborliness and steady industry through an American lifetime that spanned from the War of 1812 to the end of Reconstruction.
He was known among friends and family for a calm spirit and practical wisdom, and his memory remains rooted in Green Cemetery where he now rests alongside other generations of his community.
