George Radcliffe Colton

Biography

George Radcliffe Colton built a career in public service that eventually led him to the governorship of Puerto Rico, where he worked to improve administration and relations under the Taft administration.

After returning to private life he retained the respect of colleagues, and his grave at Oak Hill Cemetery is a reminder of the duties he carried with care.
